Alrighty, so today is day one of my challenge! I'm excited, but things probably won't be as good as they possibly could for just a couple of days. My husband and I have a friend staying here, so I can't do my exercise routine as I normally would. :(

no weighing today

I'm resisting the urge to weigh myself, because I know I didn't do well yesterday. After I ate the pizza, I got intensely depressed about it and purged, and then a couple of hours later ate an orange and two light (110 cal.) yogurts.

So I am staying far, far away from the scale to try and not discourage myself. Instead, I'm just going to eat lightly today and do my workout, and then step it up tomorrow with a fast and a more intense workout. I'll weigh myself Sunday and hopefully I'll see some more good progress. :3

EDIT (4:45 PM): Whew. I doubled my usual exercise routine for today in an effort to combat yesterday's failure. I feel pretty good about today. :3

At six I'm planning on having a salad, and maybe an orange or yogurt. We'll see how that goes. I'm excited now for my fast tomorrow!

So, I couldn't resist weighing myself this morning, and...

Yay! Goal #1 has been reached. And much earlier than I expected to. (Yeah, I'm counting it even though there's a .2 there. I don't really care) :3

So, feeling pretty good so far today. Good luck to all of you, ladies! <3

EDIT (11:40 AM): So my landlord is coming up to visit today, which means I'm going to have a lot to do. I won't have time for my regular workout routine, but that's okay because she's bringing up bales of straw which I'll have to carry and stack. That ought to work me out enough for today.

Also, I'll be trying to do a water fast today. Wish me luck! ^_^

EDIT (5:20 PM): Well, I broke my fast. :(  When my landlord showed up she brought with her a cheese pizza from the BEST local pizza shop and I had to eat some. I'm not too worried about it, though, because bucking the hay bales was more work than I'd expected. I ought to still be okay for today, but I still wish I could have pulled off my fast. Oh well. Tomorrow I'll get back to my workout routine.

too tired to think of a title

I didn't sleep very well last night. Went to bed at 12, woke up at 2, went to bed again at 3:30 and woke up at seven. So, not the worst night of sleep I've ever had, but combined with my workout this morning I feel exhausted. And I still have more cleaning to do, yikes.

Well, I've been good so far today, despite my lack of energy. I tried new workout videos today, one an intense cardio and the other a more intermediate aerobics. Plus my pilates. I feel pretty happy with that, considering my energy level today.

OH! And I almost forgot the good news! I weighed myself today and I'm down to 162. That's 6 lbs down already, which is makes me feel pretty good considering it's only been a couple of days.

With a good strong cup of coffee in my system I managed to get done most of the cleaning I needed to do. So that's a load off of my mind. Stay strong, everybody. <3
